Who is the most expensive player that you have seen playing against the hibees? Not what you think should be the most, but actual transfer cost. T A Flo from the old rangers club is the most expensive i can think off

How much did Man Utd pay for Rooney?
He played at ER as a teenager for Everton.

Has to have been someone from the Barcelona team that day.
Henry, Dani Alves, Pedro, Eto'o and Toure have all been transferred for a pretty penny I think, although the obvious most valuable player to have ever played against Hibs is Messi by a country mile.

Of the ones you mention, Henry went to Barca for £38M, Alves £17M, Pedro (Barca youth so £0M), Eto'o £22M, Toure £7.65M
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I remember seeing nick Barmby years ago on in a preseason for Everton, could have been his debut. He cost a few quid back in the day. 5million plus iirc. Would be a lot more in today's money.

From that Barcelona team (in euros I'm afraid)
Dani Alves €29m (although there's a suggestion it was closer to €35m)
Henry - €24m
Eto'o - €24m
Martin Caceres - €16.5m
Hleb - €15m
Keita - €14m
Yaya Toure - €10mThey've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!
