The reviews are out and they seem to be mixed. Whose going to see it when it comes out or head to the premier on Sunday.
I wonder if it will feature anything about Hibs winning the Scottish Cup!

I think it is going to be crap compared to the first, but I'm still going to see it. Like all modern remakes sequels and prequels they will have cheesy links for the less imaginative amongst us. To recreate the running along Princes St is a prime example. Don't think it will be anything like the book either, sadly. Not heard if Juice Terry is going to be in it and he is basically the main character in porno.

I've seen around 8 reviews. 1 said it was decent, the rest said it was superb.

Big themes around nostalgia and aging so maybe the call backs to the original have a bit more substance than your typical modern sequel.... Time will tell!

McGregor never came back for a remake (even after he and Boyle had buried the hatchet) because he didn't like the Porno novel. When he saw the new T2 script he saw it was nothing like Porno so signed up.

Just back and a little disappointed. Don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that. Perhaps a second watching might change my opinion. Didn't find her very convincing, and felt that there were too many random bits. OK it was a nod to hibs but what was the relevance of the George Best bit?

I just saw it. The Rangers club scene is the best but it's pretty camp really!
Not crazy about the film as a whole. But all sequels are dodgy except Godfather 2 and French Connection 2.
This is my opinion.
