It was a year ago today , since we were drawn to play that lot at the PBS in the cup .
The amount of texts I received saying " it's as good as a bye for them and 115 in a row .
What a year 2016 was :)

I was convinced that was that and it was 115 in a row. Shows how much I know.
To be fair, I only stopped being convinced in the 91st minute on the day of the tie.

And are they bitter? You'd better believe it

Slightly off topic - but I don't think there's any way we are going up to Inverness and winning after the League Cup final disappointment.

I have to admit I thought that was us done. I never even watched the Tynie game, was out with the wife and got in, turned the tele on just as we got the corner for the equaliser.
Even going into the replay after coming back for two goals down I expected us to lose. Last years team was truly special to have so much character and so much resilience!

I had yaks on my Facebook laughing about getting a bye. It just makes it sweeter looking back.

Look at Gary Anderson's face when it's drawn...

I was driving to my dad's when I was listening to this live on the radio. Gave out a massive cheer at the draw.
Why? Because we'd already beaten Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and rangers (who are and were arguably as good as the tramps last season) plus there was absolutely zero pressure on us going there

There's going to be a lot of enjoyable "this time last year" threads I suspect
Always a lot of bravado on the message board with Hearts being touted as favoured opponents by many, but by the same token there would have been many sinking shoulders when the draw was announced. As is often the case with away to Hearts, among the first questions were "what time does the Roseburn/Murrayfield Hotel open?" and the draw became more appealing by the day.

Final whistle celebrations. Great comeback and a great day with greater things to come.

I remember at 2-0 their classy fans chucking a Hibs scarf around the Wheatfield stand after one of them had spat on it. Sums them up nicely.

Ha Ha! 9,000 wasters around Leith bursting into tears!Posted 11 January 2016 - 06:05 PM
Sooooo, we could condemn them to the 1,000,000 hours without the holy grail.I've got a really good feeling about this one.
We have far better players than they do, no worries from me.
Delighted its at homeReally hope we destroy them to shut there wonky manager and fans up once and for all , i believe this could be the end of them when we pump them , st johnstone put them out of the league cup and the fail in the play offs . mon the jambos ram these horrible hobos .Last edited by SteveHFC; 11-01-2017 at 09:55 PM.

Yes I remember it well, my facebook and twitter timelines flooded with the tramps telling us how we were getting pumped and generally celebrating that they were going to make it 115. They were sooooo smug, as far as they were concerned they simily had to show up that day and it was a done deal. "a bye to the next round" as some roaster on keekback described it.
I loved as well a few of them after the tynie game giving it "Aww well just means we get to humiliate them on their own patch now" etc. Hahaha OOOOOH SO ****ING SWEET!
Just when you think the SC run last year couldn't be any sweeter, you remember things like this!Last edited by 21.05.2016; 12-01-2017 at 12:04 PM.

Mind when they all started singing STUBBSY STUBBSY at 2-0? That worked out really well for them.

I remember at 2-1 down and pressing for the equaliser looking over to the home stands (which were quieter than a library) watching all the Yams cashing out on Betfred etc.
Bish bash bosh.
Quality.
