I unsubscribed from BoxNation only last month as it's been awful recently. This is great news though, will defintely sign up for BT sport.

Luis Ortiz fighting on Sky Sports tonight as well as Martin Murray, hopefully be a decent night.

Martin Murray defeats a guy, who looks like he should be about 2 weight classes below him, on points. Wasn't a bad fight, but I think Murray is on the decline.

Those score cards were awful. Solis won that imo, one of the judges had Mcdonell by 6 rounds 🙈

Boxing is such a joke at times. It's a bit like referees in football, not sure whether the judges are incompetent or corrupt.

If anything it was Solis more likely to have won by 6, ***** like that gives boxing a bad name, happens far too often

I don't think this fight will last long. As soon as Ortiz lands a meaningful punch it will be lights out imo

I can't work out whether this guy is being clever and tiring Ortiz out or if he's just trying to last as long as he can.

This fight reminds me of today's game against Falkirk.

Very true, only one man tried to win. What was the point of Scott coming all that way to run away for 12 rounds. I thought he might at least try and make a fight of it in the later rounds.

That was an epic fight, great start to my all nighter for the McGregor fight

I thought Ortiz was awful. Not an easy opponent to look good against but he spent the whole fight looking for a big shot rather than showing any skill or ability to break him down. Obviously he's primarily known as a counter puncher and that wasn't easy last night but his inability to change it up wasn't great.

I can't see Wilder or Joshua being particularly worried by what he showed last night.

That's a good point don't think anybody came out of it looking good you know it's bad when even the commentators are slagging the fight off

The main event however was a great fight a brave performance from smith but it wasn't enough sosa just a class above feel for smith but I feel he is just slightly short of being world level, don't know if we'll see him again.
