Following on from the 'unacceptable' thread and reading the various valid opinions, I wondered, given that so much on FB is so vapid and, well, crap, just what is acceptable on the platform?
I'm guessing this won't generate the same amount of responses as the other thread...

Facebooks a great tool for keeping up with friends who have moved abroad or whatever. It's a good tool for sharing (a couple of) photos quickly with relatives and friends.
It's people who live their life through it that are a nightmare.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

I like it for storing holiday pics as it means I can access them anytime anywhere. Living abroad it's a great way of following what friends and family are doing back home. I've also used it to contact old friends who I'd lost contact with through the mists of time.

Found it useful once for catching someone scamming by refunding several different folk who all just happened to be friends on their FB page.

It's great when a Hibs-supporting mate likes a picture on the Hibs retro page or the like.
There's nothing like scrolling down your page and getting a quality picture of a Dirk Lehman or Joe Tortolano to brighten up your day.
