    Rugby League Play Off

What an ending to this relegation play off. Salford down by 8 with 90 seconds to go and score 2 tries to level it at 18-18. Then a 50 metre drop goal to seal it in extra time.

Chuck in a pitch invasion and a wee bit aggro and you have a good day out :-)

Hopefully the grand final next week is just as good.

Not ordinarily a fan of Salford with them being just down the road from Leigh, but for exactly that reason I'm chuffed they stayed up! Unbelievable last few minutes and the drop goal was a beast!

Its not really any different from football clubs who have made big investments only to have to cut back when they go down.

It can be argued that the qualifiers is a bit unfair but you get 7 games to sort yourself out and they failed.

It's Cockayne whinging more than anything else. Leigh, Bradford and Sheffield all had full time teams in the Championship this season. It's sport - winners and losers is the whole point of it. Plus any players who are any good will get bought by Super League clubs anyway.

Think this season has been quite poor in standard overall. The ending Saturday was great though.

Super league final next week then its all over. Thank god!
    Warrington win for me.
    Cougars!!!
