    Ryder Cup 2016

So not long to go now until the battle commences.
Thoughts on how it will go? For me the US are favourites and I think it will be close until the singles with the US storming away with it on the final day. Too many inexperienced and out of form players in the European team.

Gutted today. Got a sky go account to watch this afternoons play at work, my company must use a foreign IP of sorts because it doesn't work. 4G at the Gyle is shocking as well.

As for who will win and form. You could argue that based on recent performances the Europeans are in form.

4g Around the gyle has been horrific for months.....I have found switching to 3g as a good alternative

Honours very much even in the early stages of the morning foursomes. Personally I think the USA will have the upper hand this year and for the sake of the competition that might be no bad thing.

Poor start. Some poor choices from Clarke.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Too true, coupled with some poor golf from the Europeans and some great play from the American team. Looking like a whitewash in the first series of games.

Rose holed nothing, Garcia & Kaymer were in control and lost 4 in a row. Westwood completely out of sorts. Not sure how McIlroy and Sullivan lost, Mickelson barely hit a fairway all day. One bad shot from Sullivan into the water at 17 costly. Need a big afternoon and try and get it to 5-3 overnight. Mountain to climb though.

This evening session has been a joy to watch. Some fantastic golf from the European lads.

5-3 by the close of play would be great after the morning session

Good chance of that but the Yanks are tightening up their game in the last few holes and are not out of it.

Europe need to pull the finger out and just make sure of the last two points.

5-3 is a good result after this morning.

anything else is bad news after how it was 2 holes ago.

The Spanish give team Europe another point.

Mcllroy and Peters 2 up with 4 to play.

They win and it's all good for Europe. They don't and it is 6-2.

    6-2.....

    Hmmmm....

Beautiful shot into 16 there from Rory. That's the match winner.

The respective fans are always very patriotic, but it's funny to hear the Yanks shouting "Get in the WATER." They're really quite classless when it comes to appreciating good golf from the European guys.

Pete Willets (Danny's Brother) bang on the money. 😂😂😂😂😂

Team Europe needs to shut those groupies up.

They need to silence the pudgy, basement-dwelling, irritants, stuffed on cookie dough and pissy beer, pausing between mouthfuls of hotdog so they can scream ‘Baba booey’ until their jelly faces turn red.

They need to stun the angry, unwashed, Make America Great Again swarm, desperately gripping their concealed-carry compensators and belting out a mini-erection inducing ‘mashed potato,’ hoping to impress their cousin.

They need to smash the obnoxious dads, with their shiny teeth, Lego man hair, medicated ex-wives, and resentful children. Squeezed into their cargo shorts and boating shoes, they’ll bellow ‘get in the hole’ whilst high-fiving all the other members of the Dentists’ Big Game Hunt Society.

Clarke is gambling with these pairings. Pieters and Cabrero Bello proved themselves yesterday and hopefully Fitzpatrick and Wood can do likewise. A betting man would go 2-2 in this latest series of games.

We'll wait & see, I'm really looking forward to it.

I think we need to win both sessions today to get it done.
Rose and Wood is the only one that concerns me. Rose wasn't quite at it all day yesterday and also needs to get his putter warmed up.

Great half point for the Spaniards. Only 1 point behind overall now, it's all to play for.
