I certainly did. He scored 5 goals in 20 plus league games.

He did very well in the big cup games but in the league, he hardly ripped up any trees.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be forever grateful for his goals in Inverness & the Cup Final, be he's no big loss in the league.

Chances are Lennon Gallagher is named after another Lennon. Perhaps Neil got the wrong idea and no one had the heart to tell him.
Do they know Danny as well.

Erm, he started 13 league games and made 1 sub appearance, scoring 5. Then 4 goals in 7 cup games. So 9 in 20 starts. And while he was not great to start with, the last 6 weeks he was consistently one of our best performers Played differently than the first time he was with us, was more of a creator than a finisher.

My bag. I'm counting the play off games. 19 league games (including the playoffs). So 5 in 19.

He played 27 in total. 2 games for Celtic, 6 cup games.

Lol no big loss lets see who replaces him before we decide on our loss. IMHO he is a huge loss.

Lennon got into a wee argument with a Celtic fan who got annoyed at him saying Wales were good or something. Was quite an amusing exchange.

His tweets today are from Dublin. Hopefully he is there to sign someone returning from the euros.
he was doing work for Irish TV with the Spain Italy match which probably explains why he was in Dublin, never know though!

You judging him solely on goals scored?

Stokes was good, but he could hardly be expected to do the work of tree fellers

Stokes was actually good in every game bar a few. His hold up play and pulling CB apart helped a lot. Wasn't just about goals!

Some folk need to actually watch the game rather than just pick stats out to suit their argument! 😉

Agree with this. One game in particular I noticed him doing this was in the league cup final. He was our best player that day and yet when I came on here all I seen was dogs abuse for the guy.

    Totally agree.

There were a lot of mitigating factors for him too.

He arrived half fit and played against packed defences that weren't interested in playing football.

We were struggling a bit for form by the time he got into his stride and I don't think Stubbs really knew how to fit him into our team.

In spite of that he knocked his pan in, tailored his game and did lots of closing down, dropping deep and all sorts, possibly to the detriment of the scoring record that people are now beating him with.

Stokes was our best player in many of our games throughout the past couple of months of the season.

When we finally played in the kind of game that suits him (the cup final) he was on fire.

Agree- his performance in the LC was top class and I was stunned to see the stick some were giving him on here.

Would hope the club wouldn't censor an employee like that. Doubt it as well. Probably a personal choice.

Just about every tweet he makes he has a pile of Celtic fans spraffing nonsense. Id imagine he's realised that he could do without getting dragged into that and his current fans having to see the constant Celtic references.

Going into new season I think it's a good choice, get on with the job at Hibs.

Most likely a personal choice. I quite liked having our manager on Twitter as well, even if it was often cringey as **** as he posted like any usual middle aged man on social media.
