The way Lennon was talking about the mix of steel and flair in his Celtic days with huge centre halves it wouldn't surprise me at all if he signed a big bruiser of a centre half that could kick ass and organize the defence.
    Stephen mcmanus?

I'm afraid it was your friend underscore who was talking drivel, he definitely wanted Shaw in instead of Cummings in the play offs, probably the cup final too, don't fret too much about it though, I'm not.
You are a proper mental case. Yes I rate Oli Shaw. Top class young striker. I'd have given him a few chances last season when we weren't scoring. I'd have played him in the Falkirk game as Cummings was poor.

I for one am glad Forster is back! Given the chance I'm sure he'll prove his worth!

I do however have to agree with Andy regarding Stanton. Not good enough for us IMHO!!

Me too also. Good player imo.

I'm not liking the way Dempster talked about a 'couple' of signings this year. We need a lot more than that. Hopefully just a phrase.
Think it was what would be called a euphemism.

    Transfer Rumours...
Fans News understands Brendan Rodgers has called Liam Henderson in the last 48 hrs and informed him he is unlikely to be a part of the Celtic first team this season. He has aparently authorised his agent to seek another loan away from the club. Henderson is a priority return for Neil Lennon and will open talks in the coming days....
Paul Hanlon and Jordon Forster will sign new contracts with the Hibees. The deals are all agreed although wont be finalised u...ntil the players return to Scotland after holiday.
Niklas Gunnarsson has also expressed his desire to return to the Hibees on a permanent basis. The defender has 6 months left on his current contract with Vålerenga.

Stefan Scougall and also Stephen Kingsley on loan according to rumours page.

Think Kingsley will be in big demand if Swansea let him go on loan

4 goals in 2 games against Falkirk should have been more than enough what with a world class defender in our midst don't you think ? Someone alluded to the fact Lennon wants a bit of steel in our defence, I'm thinking your hero is done for if that's the case. I'm beginning to like him already

PS I almost forgot, you wanted Gray and McGinn dropped as well, and you call me a mental case

Stephen McManus checked Hibs out a couple of years ago but was always going to motherwell. Doubt he'd come now.

Has Conrad Logan left. I feel with a good preseason under his belt he could be our Budgie.

    Where's all the rumours?

Normally when new managers come in there's millions of rumours about players signing, all I've heard so far is a rumour of commons signing.

C'moan, someone must know/be prepared to make up something? What bolton players are out of contract we could get?

Will be a couple of factors here.

    1. Lennon is doing his punditry stuff.
    2. I'd imagine a few of the backroom staff will be on holiday.

I'm sure at some point Neil will sit down with Graeme Mathie and go over the players on the Hibs radar.

Yes, never heard of him but this is the sort of rumour I'm after.

Off to check wiki, youtube and Google, will be back in 10 minutes to dismiss the rumour as a pile of pish.

Insall hopes to be a squad player this season. Henderson will sign. Forster is back. so 2 more and we are back to normal.

I also expect to see Martin back in the squad...and Lewis Allan. Plenty options now they have had a year extra experience.

A fit Carmichael after a decent rest...

Suddenly looks a healthier position. We need a quality attacking midfielder for sure (wide player)
Scott Martin is the exciting one for me.

I liked him as soon as I first saw him for the development side and he done well out on loan. Hope to see him in the Challenge and League Cup games next season.

Rated his performances for us at the start of the season, hope to see him involved.

Saw that, can't believe how short the odds are. Here's hoping they have insider information.
