Just out of interest, how many did we sell in Mowbray's second year, seem to remember a load being sold? Would be amazing if we could match that seasons sales.

I seem to recall a lot being sold the season after the new West Stand was opened. This was on the back of third place in the League and a Scottish Cup Final appearance. In less than a year, McLeish and Sauzee had gone and Blobby Williamson set about reducing that number.

Easter Road was rather more full in the Mowbray-Collins era. Hibs averaged 14,587 in 2006-07. That was before the East Stand was rebuilt and they had to open half the South Stand for Category B matches and even offered season tickets there!

I think we will reach 10,000. Amazing number for the Championship. My Celtic supporting mate from Edinburgh wants to buy a season ticket at Easter Road now. If only we could show ambition all the time and make signings or hold on to players. The Scotty Brown era where we sold the whole team was a huge opportunity and we could have filled ER. But anyway we learn. I would like us to close the West side of the West stand and cram 13,000 of us into the rest of the stadium.

I'd have loved to see what ER would have looked like if we had managed to keep the golden generation together for a bit longer. 16-17k STs perhaps?

I wonder if Hibs will have more season ticket holders than the rest of the championship put together?

Also will the Premiership excluding Rangers, Celtic, Hearts and Aberdeen come anywhere near 10,000?

I think the other clubs shift about 2,000 each. In Ross County's position, that's pretty phenomenal, and to be fair to the rest, represents a decent percentage of their population.

IIRC our biggest figure was under Collins following the League Cup win - I might be wrong though.

Aberdeen are only projected to get a wee bit over 10k so that puts it in context of what an achievement it will be for us to reach that figure

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on what sounds a brilliant idea to engage children with the club! What was it like last season? Is there generally 100% usuage of all the season tickets?

One of our group is currently pondering on accepting a job offer in the states and was talking about donating his already renewed season ticket to the club to give to someone deserving. If you need adult tickets donated aswell I'll have a word with him and see if he is up for that. (All dependent if he leaves which if your reading we aren't trying to replace you already 😂)
