Well, who can really argue when the two biggest Edinburgh football attendances this season were both Hibs games. Just to rub salt into their weeping wound, Hibs supporters even outnumbered the normal jambo home support in their semi-final game with St. Johnstone at, wait for this, TYNECASTLE!! LOL
Hibs have demonstrated time and again over the years both in and out of cup finals that they can easily outnumber Hearts. The current obsession by the maroon hordes with numbers is nauseating and selective. There are many among their support who clearly remember regular sub 7k crowds at Tynecastle. It's just not pc to mention this, especially in the company of a vociferous young jambo who lives in a wee restricted time bubble, where 1986 was before their time and so doesn't count. Swathes of them actually can't see the irony in their argument that only things in their life time count, forgetting that thousands of their own support have lived much longer and can testify to 3 relegations, 36 years without a trophy, sub 7k crowds, and 54 years and counting of failing abysmally (jambottling-it) in the Scottish league Cup.

We owned them outright and for all time and I was there! To be humiliated in front of your own supporters on your own hallowed turf, in the very heart of Gorgie and in the the most sacred place imaginable to a jambo, Tynecastle stadium, 0-7 by the team most despised and reviled and feared, Hibernian FC, is the benchmark for all Edinburgh derby's. Getting beaten by a financially doped and currupt rival in a neutral ground in another city (Glasgow) even in a cup final, doesn't come near. Hampden is not Tynecastle and never will be. Every derby is a cup final to a true hibby or jambo. Hearts love to throw 1902 at us, but New Years day 1973 has not been surpassed. In fact, the jambos can go right back to 1902 and count the countless times Hearts have failed abysmally to even come close to humiliating our boys on our own turf in front of our own support the way we humiliated them that fateful day. 114 years from 1902 and counting you Jambottlers!

As a Wee Team I really hope that when their Owner Miss Gorgie 1962 Ann BudgieFace demands her doh back that they can survive because I personally think that they got off lightly ripping off the local and national businesses and charity's so that their ramshackle of a stadium could exist to house 400,000 Jeremy Kyle Show wannabes.
