    Microsoft Office

Just bought a cheap laptop for the bairns homework. It does not come with Microsoft Office but i know i can install open office etc.

My son is only 15 and still at School. Does he qualify for a student price or discount for Microsoft office?

    Cheers

Don't know anything about offers specifically for for students but, depending on where you work, you might be eligible for the Home Use Program for £9.95 http://www.microsofthup.com/hupuk/ho...?culture=en-GB

I get it through the Scottish Government, but I think most public sector work email addresses would qualify, and I think the likes of BT participate too. If your boy has a school email address it might work?

It's worth also paying the extra fiver or so for a disk too
