    Blackpool by coach

Given that the trains are srewed, does anyone know the best way to get to Blackpool by coach? Been looking on line and seems to me citylink only run in the summer, national express requires at least 3 changes and would take all day and mega bus don't do it .

I would still book the train, bus replacement service to Carlisle then Carlisle - Preston by train and change onto another train for Preston - Blackpool. Lucky posted on the main board that the WCML is re-opening on 22/2.

    That seems excessive.

I'm also going down in April, basing myself there for the Grand National, and it's only 3 hours 10 minutes and that includes a 25 minute wait in Preston when changing trains.
