Does anyone know when Hector Nicol released 'Glory Glory to the Hibees (and the other song on the 'b' side)? On the Wikipedia page they need a citation to show that it was the original version of the classic chant from the terraces. If you can point to a web article that has the information I'll add it on. Cheers.

Early 60's with the Hertz song as the B-side. Don't know if that was the original release.

Sorry for reviving this thread.
Jambo I work today said the the Hearts song was the A side and the Hibs song was the B side.
Is this the case? Or was there no A or B side on this occasion?

Nicol had a comedy album out - very smutty as I recall - and I think the football songs were on that.

Hawrts hierarchy objected to the Hibs side being numbered 6207, for obvious reasons, and so the (craven imo) record company renumbered it to 6205, which meant it became the A-side, as it was the tradition for the lower-numbered side to be the A-side.
FACT.
