    I recall it doubly well. I worked at A shop fitter for years and the French polisher (Jimmy Gillies) was a brilliant Hibby who had the back page of one paper stuck to the wall of the Polishing Shop for years.
    I might even have a photocopy of the cutting somewhere.
    I'm now intrigued as to who you are now - I was Jimmy's apprentice many moons ago and remember those cuttings on the wall well.
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    He did indeed take it off Alan's head. Years later I asked Alan if he'd called. He said no, never crossed anyone's mind that Tony could actually jump & head the ball!
