I have. It felt miles away from the action....and to make matters worse, the screens were positioned so that We couldn't see the, very well either. We did complain and get moved though....

That's going to be pretty far back and detached seeming, I would say.

Also, make sure you get a decent scran before you go in, the food outlets are ridiculously over-priced and taste rank as well.

It does feel a bit detached all the way back there but I suppose it depends on how badly you want to see whatever band it is. For me, it was better than not being there at all

It depends how the stage is set up tbh, I've been at the back for Take That and it was fab, could see everything and didn't feel as far back as we were.

But have also been at the back for a gymnastics comp and we couldn't see the scoreboards due to the positioning of lights etc.

I'd say go for it, there's not many bad seats in the Hydro.

I personally wouldn't recommend it but then I like to be dancing around quite a lot at concerts. I was at the Hydro in March, the seats looked really far away and a lad I spoke to outside said he just watched the big screen... which he could have done at home.

Yeah fair point. I watched UFC 89 in Birmingham and the seats were quite far back. The couple next to me watched it on a big screen and had earphones with commentary coming through, seemed a bit pointless I thought.
