Need to forget about the Sevco game today and move on as quickly as possible. Lets get back to winning ways against Montrose in the League Cup. Hopefully we will see 1 or 2 of our current injured players back/on the bench?
If I was in charge I'd be dropping Oxley for a start!

Absolutely. Today was one of those awful days that happen from time to time. Defeat against Montrose is unthinkable, and it should be the ideal game to get back on track.
Agree re Oxley - a tragic display today.Last edited by Hibernia&Alba; 25-07-2015 at 05:46 PM.

Might have got trounced today but I'm happy to have football back on my Saturdays.
Beers with the boys and then watch the Hibees, how it should be!

Would imagine Stubbs was thinking of giving Reguero a chance against Montrose anyway not that our goalie will have much to do .

Let's be honest today's game came at an inconvenient time. We would have been looking for an easy game against a lower team today to continue our build up for the start of the league season. Next week will be the next stage in our build up for Dumbarton away. We were nowhere ready today lets hope we will be in 2 weeks. Next week should and will be a walkover.

Based on today's evidence we need to use next week to get players match fit eg I'd start Bartley with the plan to replace him after 60-70 minutes, depending on how he's playing.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

To be fair after a couple of post match pints had been quaffed our group of near enough a dozen were talking about and looking froward to next week. Nobody is kidding themselves, we have a lot to improve on and it's frustrating that lingering problems from last season such as the goalkeeping position haven't been addressed but nobody said being a Hibee was easy!!

Hibs being Hibs, they will probably give Montrose a tanking and there will be a very low crowd in attendance after today.

Couldn't have asked for a better game to get back on track after today. Decent performance, good few goals and improving on fitness levels will set us up nicely for the Dumbarton game. It's all about the league anyway.

Literally a 'must win' (hate the saying but it is true) - we need to win, with some style and lots of goals - with a couple of the new lads played (including any we sign). It's Montrose - I'll be expecting a backlash to today and 5 or 6 goals - into them from the off.
Simple as that.

I'll be there. I'll be drunk and I might not remember it, but by god I'll be there. And when they play the wanderer I'll be going mental. Mon the quo.

Wasn't sure if I could make the Montrose game or not, but after today's fiasco my mind is made up. I'm going.

We need to see a reaction to yesterday's result.
We are at home against a team that was the worst side in the SPFL last season. I'm expecting a comfortable victory.

Think we need to sing our support for Stubbsy and Leeann very loudly on Saturday. Will be there.
"One Leeann Dempster, there's only one Leeann Dempster", "There's only one Stubbsy" - they've acted in an exemplary manner in all of this.
