10th June 2017 for scotland v England at Hampden
Sure Police Scotland will be happy with that one!.

Really good draw for us. A lot of people seem to be saying Slovakia should be easy opponents for us. Slovakia are on a really good run at the moment. Reckon it'll be between us and them for 2nd.

As unpalatable as it probably is for Scotland fans I think they really need to hope England win all their other games and hope Scotland can take something in Bratislava and beat Slovakia at Hampden.

If that happens 2nd place should be sorted.

I agree it could have been worse but it's far from an easy draw.

Slovakia (as pointed out) are playing well right now, Slovenia were excellent at the 2010 World Cup and were unfortunate not to go beyond the group stages. They've struggled a wee bit in this qualifying campaign but the spread of where their players come from means they'll be no pushovers. Then there's our auld pal's Lithuania...

Our weeks 3-7 fixtures are tricky, particularly back to back away games in Bratislava and London.
