Only 36? I thought he'd been getting it wrong a lot longer than that.

3 red cards (one to later be rescinded), dodgy penalty, obvious handball missed by all officials and an iffy offside goal.

    Good for him.

It's good to know that a Scottish referee is well thought of by UEFA.

Let's face it, no refs are going to be appreciated by the fans.

    I hope he does well.

My deepest sympathies go out to the fans, players and officials of Barcelona and Sevilla.

You will all be in my thoughts on the 11th August.

Incompetence and failure on the part of Collum in several high profile fixtures is now being rewarded by selection for an even higher profile fixture.

The loonies have taken over the asylum.

I know. Pure madness. Fancy asking a Scottish ref to travel that far when we could host it at Easter Road. Platini out iwasthere1972 in.

    Nuff said.

What a shame that you can't simply wish a fellow Scotsman good luck given that he has reached such a high level on the European scene. Maybe all of the people who decided that he was good enough to handle this fixture are wrong?
