And don’t get me started on people who look down on other people because of their jobs

    Shop assistant
    Cleaner
    Van Driver
    Security Guard
    etc etc
Add waiter to that list! Got that a good few times when I was a server again after stepping down from management (hospitality management not worth it if you have a young family)!

Really annoyed me when folk said so you're just a waiter. Guarantee I had better job satisfaction and flexibility than they did, and earned a lot more than they think I did as I'd get asked how could I go away so much/do so many things if I was 'just a waiter'

Public libraries. Noisy. If it's not the kiddies and mums singing Knees and Toes it's folk blathering about their health, holidays, families etc - sometimes the staff are the worst!
I'm not for returning to the old Silence Please days but FFS!

Does my head in. When it works it’s fine, but usually it starts off fine then goes off, instead of disconnecting from it, I usually turn my WiFi off, I then forget to turn it back on when I get home and start doing stuff like updating apps and watching videos and lose all my data.
Did that very thing last week. Only remembered when I got an alert to say data is used up!

The police car that's sits at Newbridge on the raised bank. What's it actually doing apart from killing time?? Maybe this is obvious but it annoys me!

Was driving along Lanark Road West & then Slateford Road yesterday. Was behind someone in a really expensive sports car. The traffic was back to back and not moving at more than 15 mph at any one time. Despite this the guy kept revving his engine while stationery and again when edging 5 yards further forward. We get your car is nice, but it travels the same distance and at the same speed as the rest of us in traffic! Cretin.

    Certain rhyming lyrics in songs.

Rhyming “girl” with “world” really annoys me for some reason.

As does “hands in the air” with “don’t care”.

Rhyming with the same word as well such as that guy who rhymes “Kodak” with “Kodak”.

Ive just listened to Rod Stewart’s “I don’t want to talk about it” and he rhymes “Heart” with “Heart” in his chorus. FFS did you think I wouldn’t notice?

Folk that wear T-shirts with a band name and name of a tour they did on the front and a list of venues on the back, why would you wear that out in everyday life??

There was also a craze a few years ago where teenagers were wearing Ramones T-shirts that I just didn't get!

Pretty much any post on Hibs.net which contains the words “this place”

Isn’t it the same thing as us (me anyway) occasionally wearing my Scottish cup winners t shirt in public?

I get your annoyance about young folk wearing bands on their shirts to be cool without being able to name a song (I know this doesn’t apply to them all).

PDA’s in swimming pools. Or anywhere really, but seems to happen all the time in pools on holiday. Couples who seem to manage to sit side by side by the pool and have dinner together no problem, suddenly can’t keep their hands of each other when they get in a pool. Never understood it.

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

I’m listening to my wife talk to her cousin over FaceTime. Her cousin has used the words “like” and “literally” over 100 times in a 5 minute phone call. She’s a clever girl, privately educated with a science degree and sounds like a total ****wit. I’m about to go for a walk as I can’t listen to it any longer.

I was going to put tablets instead of laptops but, it would've invited puns about pills etc. ☺

Oooooft, you're gonna be ragin' over the next month if you get on the bus anywhere near the city centre over the next month.
    It's a festival free-for-all!

Years ago, the wife and I were waiting for a bus late one night on Princes St, just as the Tattoo emptied. We were at the front of the queue and as the 26 approached this crowd attempted to jump in front. The bus was already quite full and when I mentioned about there "being a queue", this guy 10+ years older than me put his arm across me to hold me back. I was very close to landing one on him (I know, not the appropriate or mature response) when another 26 pulled alongside and the driver beckoned us on.
The sweet part is, both buses left and the queue jumper/human barrier was left behind.

People, work colleagues, team mates, friends and even family who lock horns with everyone they cross but seem to think it's everyone else in the world that have a personality disorder but not them themselves.

I've no idea what happened to the linguistic capabilities and range of the female species a couple of years after I was born but my very intelligent sister is the exact same. Can't recount a story without the phrase "then I was like...." or "and I'm just like.." at least 300000000000000 times.

Some American TV programme is to blame for it all. Friends?
    Something like that.
Females wave their hands about more too when they're talking. Looks daft.
