    Scottish refs treat big games completely differently from refs in other countries. They let cloggers away with murder.

On the other hand, watch out for one of Motherwell's back four or midfield getting booked for their first foul. Because if he sends off a Rangers player/gives Motherwell a penalty etc, only for TV replays to show he was wrong, he's the headline tomorrow. If he gives Rangers a slightly iffy penalty or harshly sends off a Motherwell player, no further mention will be made of it and he'll maintain his false reputation as our 'Top Ref'.

    How can there be any doubt Thomson saw the elbow from Zaliukas? It was literally 12 inches from his own face!
