When i was a wee boy and started attending hibs games my favourite player was Keith Houchen he was a tall number 9. Then a few years later we signed Paul Wright at this point I like Paul thought he was a nippy forward and really annoyed the opposition. I always remember when we signed him on the news about the signing they kept going on about his wonderful free kick ability to drill them along the ground and under the jumping wall.
Anyway I always said to my old man back then we need a striker with Houchen's ability in the air and Wrights skill on the ground.... and low and behold we signed Keith Wright a merging of 2 players into one....
So keen to hear from all on here what 2 players would you put together to make the hibs player you would want!!! I was worried for a while we might sign Joe Orr but then the ball would never of left the centre centre :)

Colin Nish mixed with Alan O'Brien would be unstoppable.
Blistering pace, work ethic, great first touch and sublime finishing.

John Rankin and Chic Charnley.
All the natural talent in the world, great attitude and work rate and a guaranteed goal from the halfway line every week.

Edit: She has also been named MVP in the U.S...quite a thing for a former Hibs Ladies player.Last edited by Tinribs; 13-05-2015 at 12:06 AM. Reason: Awe

Nope. I wouldnt go for that combo. I liked Riordan when he was battering in goals a plenty (when many deemed him lazy yet he was our top scorer and setting the place on fire....annnyyyyyway)
Maybe combining Riordan with Griffiths as been suggested and for good measure, Sauzee with someone like Yogi...can you imagine the interviews with those combos? Brilliant.
We'd also have an unstoppable forward and a defender nobody could understand (or beat or outclass).

Paco Luna and Colin Nish.
Luna was very good in the air for his height - can you imagine what he'd have been like if he was 6"4?
He can play up front with Steve Archibald/ Ivan Sproule.
Archibald's intelligence and flair coupled with Sproule's explosive pace and directness.
Unplayable front pairing.
