I normally drive through but can`t make it on Sat. My son wants to go with some of his mates and was talking of getting the train. Where is the nearest station and is it on the Hibs side of the ground?

Falkirk Grahamston station is in the middle of town and the stadium is on the outskirts of Grangemouth. A fair hike. Hibs end will be the first one you get to.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Grahamston is the nearest station and would take you at least 20 minutes to walk.
You would probably be better getting a taxi.
Polmont and Falkirk High would be even further.

Get the train to Falkirk High, there's a bus outside that goes straight to the ground.

I've only been to their new ground once and it was years ago. Have they still only got 3 stands? When I went it was the cup game that Riordan got booked and ended up being suspended for the next round against the Yams. They used to have 2 stands and a wooden thing behind one of the goals.

The city link 909 bus to Stirling stops in Grangemouth, not sure how far it is to walk to the stadium, but it's quite a quick bus.

Why not use a supporters bus?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Best bet is train to Grahamston and it is a 'straightforward' 20 minute walk as someone has already said. There are First Group buses from town but 3.20 pounds each way, so if there were 3 a taxi would be worth it I think.

after a quick google
The Club have received planning permission to construct a new stand on the East side of the stadium. The planned capacity of this is 2,000. However the Club have yet to announce as to when construction is likely to commence.
Originally when the stadium was built it was envisaged that a much larger stand would be built on this side of the ground, raising the overall capacity to around 15,000. However the local authority re-zoned the whole area around the Grangemouth Petro-Chemical works and unfortunately this meant that the stadium fell within the disaster area of the works and so the capacity has been restricted to 10,000.
i doubt they will even bother building a 1800 capacity 4th stand

Their old stadium used to be right next to the station. Was a bit of a dump but I really liked it. Don't know why they moved.

Brockville really was a dump but it was always a good away day.

I think the official capacity at the time was 15,000. I swear I've never been in a ground as packed. My father estimated there could have been easily over 20,000 there. You honestly couldn't move.
Thankfully I got a perch on the perimeter fence so that I didn't get crushed, but I recall to this day that the concrete posts that supported the fence were buckling with the pressure. Looking back, that night was a recipe for disaster.
Bo'ness won 5-0 and went on to win the final 3-0 against Darvel. Hibs player Willie Temperley played for Bo'ness in both those games.

Brockville was a fantastic ground. Much prefer it in its dump format than the soulless plastic stadium they now reside in.
