I could pick any one of the dozens of theme tunes from my childhood that are constantly swimming about my head. Will somebody please make them go away!?!

    Bodger and badger.

I've yet to meet anyone that can whistle that at full speed.

    Anyway -

Crossroads - original & Wings versions
    Banana Splits
    The Monkees
    Magpie
    Famous Five
    Z Cars
    The Sweeney
    Hong Kong Phooey

Not a favourite but the theme from World in Action is pretty unforgettable (hammondorgantastic)

    But the best ever

Mike and Angelo or Spatz. Also, Red Dwarf end credits theme was a favourite purely as the lyrics made no sense!

X Files worth a mention too!

BBC Snooker. The music is always brilliant.

'Drag Racer' is the most well known but 'To the Unknown Man' by Vangelis is fabulous ........ spine tinglingly haunting and beautiful. If you don't know it 'Utube' it. I've just listened to it for the first time in years and it's still superb.
