Hibernian Supporters Association contribute £15000 to HSL

Joint Statement by Hibernian Supporters Association and Hibernian Supporters Ltd

The Hibernian Supporters Association (HSA) is pleased to announce that they have made a major contribution of £15,000 to Hibernian Supporters Limited (HSL).

The Trustees of the Association met with the Directors of HSL to fully understand the objectives and aims of the organisation. In a statement the Trustees said “We were impressed by the clear and simple aims of HSL and believed that the cooperative nature of the membership scheme fits with the way the HSA operates. It also aims to support football at our Club, something our members are passionate about and which is the prime objective of a supporters association. We look forward to working closely with both the Club and HSL to help get the Club back to where it belongs, the top of Scottish Football. We urge all supporters to do what they can afford to do to back the Club and to support the current share issue”.

Kenny MacAskill, Chair of HSL said “ The Directors are thrilled that the HSA have joined. It is a further clear indication that the Hibernian family are coming together. A great institution like HSA adds great credibility to our cause. I echo their sentiments and urge all supporters to join, with membership starting from just £10 we hope this gives everyone the chance to be heard while backing the team at the same time”

Good news and effectively it's revenue for nothing for the club (I am in the share scheme too in case anyone thinks that's a dig.)

Its good to see a united front behind the share issue now coming from the HSA.
This is what its all about unity behind our football club, going forward as one and no controversy.
    Well done HSA.

HSA have had plenty of bad press recently so this is great to read such positive news.

Well done to the HSA in making such a significant contribution

Thinking out loud but I wonder if some good old fashioned fundraising nights in supporters club might help raise the profile of HSL and raise some cash for it. Maybe a race night or something.

Hibernian Supporters Association contribute £15000 to HSL

Perhaps HSL could be allowed to do a bucket collection outside Easter road for the play offs?
