Not a ****ing chance. Their fans will start a campaign and expect to see it happen but if it does we might as well get the bulldozers in on Monday.

Not sure why you've quoted me but my post was referring to the fact that we will NOT have a Guard of Honour for the puddle drinkers.

They have had them with their home game against QOTS & away game against Rangers.

Sorry for that. Forgot how many games they'd played since we lost to hand them the league. I really don't pay much notice to their fixtures.

How about we all buy whistles and blow them as they enter the pitch.

Booing sometimes is just not enough.

I like the idea of getting their creditors - particularly the charities - lined up and then make them run the gauntlet as they walk on.

Get a few thousand copies of their creditors list printed and put one on every seat in their end.

    Lest they forget !

Is there enough space from the tunnel to the pitch to fit them all in?

I'm going on the basis that it'd start from when they get off the bus.

And in Spain, remember Barca giving Real one at the Bernabeu.

It's a complete non-issue since it's not going to happen but had the derby been the first game after they sealed it then I'd have expected us to do it.

They'd need to park halfway up Easter Road!

    I wouldn't.

There's absolutely no circumstances where I would tolerate or expect a Hearts team to run out to a guard of honour in an Edinburgh derby.

I couldn't care less what the tradition is.

I have no idea, I'm sure if you email them they'll gladly direct to the relevant rule number.....

I would say that it's probably more of an unwritten rule due to it being the "done thing" rather than it being something that's actually set in stone.

I highly doubt that there would be a rule in place which could potentially see the players of either Sevco or Celtic forced to give a guard of honour to the other team's players before a derby match at either Ibrox or Parkhead.

Sorry.. Thought you genuinely knew it was a written rule. In my experience in football it was up to the other club whether they wanted to give a guard of honour or not. It won't happen in my opinion.

Rules aren't important to Hearts. I'd hope even if we were meant to applaud them we'd tell them to ram it in practice.
