Mcgeoch and Allan vs Brown and Thomson

I know different kind of players in different system but can we say as a duo Dylan and Scott have been best pairing since the golden generation or perhaps better?

They're certainly not better. No danger.

Well, to be fair they haven't got much competition.

They are good in the first division but would have the potential to also do a good job in the top league. Nowhere near Brown and Thomson though.

Difficult to compare but if pushed would go for Brown & Thomson when they were up and coming youngsters and trying to make a name for themselves.

Now - if Scott & Dylan can help us win the Holy Grail? Might be swayed to change that opinion.

Just enjoying the two of them. Breath of fresh air after some of the dross we have had in there in recent seasons.

Hard to compare considering the situation the club is in, but they are definitely the best since them.

Shall we wait until they've proven their mettle in the top league before proclaiming them our best midfielders in almost a decade ?

Nice positive thread…long way to go before we can compare them but the best we've had for a good long while. Either have the opportunity to end up being better players than Thompson, but they have a bit of catching up to do if they ever want to surpass the career of Scott Brown.

I think Allan has potential to be as close if not better than Brown whether he realises this is another thing entirely. Also be interested to know if he just sees us as a stepping stone or will we have in for a few years to come?

Steven Thicot had the makings of a good player. I hoped we would keep a hold of him.

It was Boozy's constant availability to take poor passes in awkward situations that gave Brown and Thomson the opportunity to take the first steps in their careers.

Steven Thicot was and is a good player. Mixus bizarre thinking that he was a right back really didn't help him at Hibs.

Was at Dynamo Bucharest last I knew but not sure that's still the case.

I dont think that there better as Scott Brown was a special player i.e 4.5 million transfer and his performance in the ET against st johnstone was amazing, still running the lenght of the pitch when other are ready to drop and KT was a good player as well. But Dylan and Scott are the best pair since and im happy that there here !!!
