Concluded first working dAy in April I've heard
"We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012

There's more chance of our own Rod sporting a pair of tight trousers and shaking his stuff on stage than this happening.

That is a complete nonsense. If Rod wanted to inject cash into Hibs he could do it regardless.

My understanding was that it was his father's connection with Leith that was the trigger. There was a connection with Gordon Strachan and it was one of Gordon's family that approached the church to enquire about the ceremony. GS was at the service that day. One thing that RS appreciated was that he wasn't treated as a celebrity, once the whole service and ceremony started it was conducted the same as it would be on any other occasion, including RS and his partner Penny shaking hands with the departing congregation at the end.

Never missed Faces gig at the Apollo in Glasgow
Maybe he would buy some because of his Fathers Leith connection and his love for Football but if so it would just be a token gesture

Rod the mod as owner, or the fans as owners?

No question what the correct answer is

He would look to reduce the budget, and the first cut is the deepest.

It was actually South Leith Church, which was CoS the last time I looked.
