Really not bothered who we get, however as long as it's not Celtic I'n the final.
Dylan would play ( bonus ) but not only that the size of crowd we would take and after the last final at the end the noise from us was immense.
This may just make 2 or 3 out of contract players sign another contract / extension or even for us ( Dylan ).
Been a very long time since I've wanted players to re- sign. For this alone I hope we do get to the final.

We're good away from home, it's a big pitch and we play good stuff.
Also, is there a Europa League tie around the time of the SC QF for Celtc?
If so, this round is the one where they would be most vulnerable, home or away.
Cue us away at Tannadice and Cetlc at home to Spartans then...

If we get Celtic at any stage before the cup final we wont be going to the cup final so best we get a lesser team (maybe not Raith Rovers though), personally, I'd like Dundee United at home to see how far we have come - would be interesting to compare the game against the encounter earlier on in the season ....

Our chances of taking them out are much better at a packed ER or half empty Parkhead than at the final in May (imo).Last edited by The Green Goblin; 09-02-2015 at 10:15 AM.

Potentially we have to be ready to play and beat any of those sides at some point, so I don't think it really matters. I wouldn't say that any of those potential ties will be a dawdle, and I wouldn't disrespect Berwick or Spartans as some here seem to be prepared to do. Stranger things have happened.
So I'd go along with the argument that if we're going to get a tough draw, better now than later.
I'm not totally convinced about the 'advantages' of a home crowd, mind - we might be better away from home with the travelling support getting right behind us.
Applauding our own guys and giving the opposition pelters rather than the other way round, in other words.Last edited by --------; 09-02-2015 at 11:49 AM.

If we get Celtic then bring them on! Watching them against Rangers I felt we could match them in lots of areas. My only worry is our tendency to switch off at the back. Griffiths and Stokes will punish you for that.

The easiest draw possible at home for me.... So it's Berwick/Spartans however since I said that it'll prob be an away tie to Smellic Utd or ICT.

Sorry if this has been covered but if/when we get Celtic will McGeouch be allowed to play against them?
