Weather for travelling through to the game

What is the weather like in Edinburgh? Is there any snow lying?

We live in Glasgow and are keen to come through to the game. Does anybody know if the M8 is pretty clear of snow? Around Harthilll is usually the worst part. Glasgow is pretty snowy but not snowing. I will look at BBC Scotland’s weather forecast.

Quite a bit of snow West Lothian yesterday and still lying however all main roads are fine. Just had a look at traffic Scotland cameras for m8 and seemed clear. Think weather forecast is to clear up during the day being dry but cold.

Last week when it was blowing winds my sister didn't want me taking my nephews through despite tickets already being bought. Phoned the ticket office and they very kindly switched the tickets to todays game instead and now the weather is probably worse

Think I'll chance it this time.

Been snowing today in the West and now lying but has stopped. I am planning to drive through and think it should be ok to do so.

Nice enough morning in Leith. Just nipped for a paper and it's freezing but calm and dry.

I heard something on the radio about clubs not wishing to switch it on/keeping it very low because of the damage it does to the pitch.

A look at the weather forecast should be able to tell when it needs to be on and when it doesn't surely.

Nearly fell on my a*** a couple of times on icy pavements here in the capital city this morning, but not too bad if you wrap up warm.
