    You could but they would charge you an early termination fee for doing so which would probably mean that you would face an up front charge for the entire year's subscription.

    on virgin you can get bt sports package for £15 a month and no mention of an activation fee going to add to mine in the morning

    I've got the Virgin XL package (doesn't include Sky Sports or Movies) and has ESPN and BT Sports 1 and 2 (both also in HD) included.

    You get BT Sport and ESPN included as part of the XL package on Virgin or for £15 per month if you have one of their other tv packages.

    I don't believe there's any activation fee either.

    I think it's just Sky customers that are expected to pay the activation fee to BT as they're trying to outdo Sky.

    Correct Trig.... No activation fee.
