Took a punt on it being good off the back of 'Shake It Off' - genuinely brilliant, brilliant album definately influenced a bit by 80s pop and some more contemporary acts like Chvrches.
Really fantastic album and worth a punt if you've not already heard it.

Swift has a knack for a catchy pop tune. Nothing wrong with that. The beatles built a career on it.

I liked her previous stuff too so wouldn't say I was "surprised" to like to her new album, 1989 is really really good. Particularly like style, blank space and shake it off.
Mon the Hibs.
