    You'd need to invite a few hundred Fans in as well, with instructions to Boo, Moan and generally give out Dogs abuse to the Players.

    That way, they'll become accustomed to it

    Haha. In all seriousness tho, maybe the transition from youth team to first team could be helped by having a youth game at lunchtime before a first team game. Maybe a pre season friendly? I'm not suggesting it would produce better players, but would give them a taster and an incentive to push on. They'll be a few hundred fans there. Absolutely no idea about the implications on the pitch though. I know there a few pre season tournaments that have a couple of games a day.
