Season tickets aren't that old, so he hasn't had one that long, but the 97 year-old has been a signed up member of BvB since April 1st, 1935 - not bad going. He might have been able to play for the 1st team if it hadn't been for the matter of that war and a long term in a prison camp ...

I saw a story just recently that beats this one. It concerns actress, Vicky McLure's grandfather - the main reason she became a Notts supporter.

I know of one Hibs supporter who has had a ST for more than 80 years. No names will be mentioned on here, but I can verify the exact number later. There is at least one other poster on this board who can verify that this is true.
