I didn't read the story but it seems like a non-issue to me. Either he uses the next couple of years to improve his English, or they get an interpreter.

Why does the captain of Europe need to speak English?
He just needs to stick pairings on a piece of paper and get sir Alex in to do the motivational stuff anyway?

Darren Clarke is favourite but I've a hunch that Thomas Bjorn will be in with a big shout.

I've never been able to take to Darren Clarke for some reason. No idea why just something about him.
Based on nothing more than that irrational judgement I hope it's Jimenez.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years
