Very good win indeed and god to see some impressive performances, McBride seems to be making them tick.

Hibs were superb in spells today. Their work ethic and defensive work was what impressed me the most. Mirrored the recent revival of the first team. The shape was excellent and even when the left hand side of the back four changed everyone knew their jobs.
The midfield, though, was what really stood out for me. All the players interchanging and moving all over the place, making it very hard to defend against. When required though they all worked extremely hard to get back behind the ball and make challenges thwarting possible chances for United. Good job and apologies for a long winded post but impressive stuff from the young Hibees.

I'm enthused by Lewis Allan. Boy's excellent for his age
This is how it feels

Great result considering it was only 48 hours since many of the team played 120 mins at Pittodrie. Well done boys, we're getting there!

The transformation in style of play and results seems very tangible and folk also commented on teams general fitness v Aberdeen and days later some of these same players are turning over a team with a good youth set up itself ,so maybe the Backroom changes are starting to have a positive impact

Was also good to see all the 1XI staff at the game and big Farid was down too in a pair of the worst trainers known to man (and that is no exageration...even Darren Jackson was slagging him and you've seen his threads!)
What I've also noticed is there are quite a few lower league teams represented at these games, potentially trying to pick up the odd loan deal in Jan. Lewis Allan looks very good and it would be interesting to how he would do if farmed out on loan.
Decent wee crowd considering it was a 3.30pm kick off, over 100 at the game.
