You may remember that the East Lothian Hibs Supporter's Club had a day out at East Mains recently and we've set up something similar. You can read about their visit here.....

We've set up a visit on THURSDAY 6th NOVEMBER.

The club wants the chance to explain the new set up within the footballing department, who does what, and why they're doing it the way they are.

You'll have to make your own way there if you go on the evening visit.

The plans are.........


Thursday 6th November

HTC (6pm start)
Presentations from George Craig (Head Of Football Operations), Craig Flanagan (Strength and Conditioning Coach) and Graeme Mathie (Head of Player Identification and Recruitment)
Q&A with Alan Stubbs


We're limited to a maximum of 60 so get your name down sharpish if you want to go, but please only put your name down if you know you can make it as late call off's can be a bit of a PITA

If you've ever wanted to know what they do all day at East Mains, why we need all those coaches or why Lewis is played at right back then this is your chance

As an aside the Edinburgh schools actually go back on Tuesday 21st, they are off the week before

Sounds really good. I'm back in Edinburgh on the weekend of the 7th for a mates 21st so the Thursday night sounds promising. Will know within the next 48 hours or so and get back to you.

I received a text from a friend asking if I wanted to attend with our kids. Came on here to check all the details and thought, yes that looks great. Then checked the date with my wife and was informed that was the date the schools went back.
Surely you can see where one might think that was not a great day to arrange a kids visit to Easter road.
Sorry if I appear overly grumpy but Hibs bring out the worst in me just now.
