For those of a certain age who followed F1 when this guy drove, he has been sadly killed in a motorbike accident. I don't think he ever won a race but was certainly a regular in F1 for several seasons.

Yep saw that yesterday. Sad news.
Same weekend as the Bianchi accident which if you've seen the footage it's hard to believe he survived it.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
