The Disappearance was quite good although I would quite happily have punched a few of the main characters on multiple occasions.

We say TV but almost everything we watch at home is streamed.

I wonder what percentage of screen time comprises people sitting in front a a TV watching what is being broadcast at that moment.

Crashing. Series about a aspiring comedian who spends his life moving around different people's couches after his marriage breaks down. First series was realy good, about to start the second.

I thought that was one of the worst things I’ve seen. The script was poor, the acting terrible and the conclusion daft.

    Each to their own!

The Defiant Ones, story of Dr Dre and Jimmy Lovine. On Netflix just now as a mini series, absolutely outstanding insight into how things worked back then with a tremendous amount of brilliant interviews.

Honestly one of the best things I've seen in telly for yonks!

Deep State starts on FOX on Thurs, trailer looks quite promising. S4 of Gotham starts on E4 10/4.

Last couple of episodes of Marcella have been a wee bit flat but I’m still hooked. Not sure if they’ve thrown in too many characters.

Finished McMafia this week - enjoyed it.

Started Homeland and that’s started well. I prefer the US/UK based storylines over the Middle East ones.

Legion is the most original and trippy show on TV just now. Season two just started on Tues. It's nothing like any other Marvel TV shows or movies. In fact I think it's the best product from the Marvel stable. A complete glorious mindf*** of a show. Not everyone's cup of tea but it's straight into my top 5 favourite programmes ever made.

Just in case anyone is put off by the comic book thing.

    Imagine putting...

    Fight Club
    Twin Peaks
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
    Inception
    The Matrix
    David Lynch & Stanley Kubrick
    and the X-Men movies

    ...in a blender. The result:

A mindboggingly, amazingly tasty Legion smoothie.

No I’m not finished the expanse yet. I’m away on holiday next week so I was planning to give it a go then. I noticed there’s only 6 episodes which will be ideal. Will I be ok watching it on the plane? It can be quite awkward if there’s a lot of nudity.
How about now? or too busy with The Fall?

I’ve not got round to it yet mate. Other than the hibs games it’s been the fall all the way.

I'm more likely to watch BBC programmes when they are actually broadcast, almost everything with adverts except live sport I'll watch via Tivo/Kodi.

Just watched the season finale of The Walking Dead, why don't they just pack it in? Absolute bollocks ending that could've happened after ep2!

Seriously gone from one of the best shows on tv to one of the worst. It's unreal how stale the show is now

Watched the Defiant ones documentary on Netflix at the weekend, it was very very good. Tells the story of Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine from young guys in the Music game, to selling their Beats company to Apple.

It's the same with the comic books. Got so stale and repetitive.

Yeah it was tremendous. I knew absolutely nothing about Iovine but what a life the guy has led! Also made me realise how little I knew about Tupac, shame there isn't a similar quality doc on him.

This was up there with the OJ: Made in America series for me though, brilliant stuff

Next up I plan to watch the Judd Apatow documentary on Garry Shandling, gets great reviews.

I stopped watching after the previous season, haven't missed it in the slightest.

The problem is basically that there is no story to tell. Usually with successful TV shows the creator has a vision, a bit of self respect and is wary of the story repeating itself. The Wire, Sopranos, Lost, Breaking Bad, GoT. They knew what the end of their tale was and the point of it.

The absolute hacks that write The Walking Dead have admitted they never plan to explain what has caused the situation. They've shown time and again that they don't really understand how to tell a story.....see the fiasco of the Glenn stories and some of the awful cliffhangers.

It's nothing but a cash cow for them now.

Couldn't agree more. On a positive note, no real cliffhangers, as Lord Sugar would say, "im out"
So much build up, then that... honestly the perfect way to describe the term anti climatic

    Could not agree more.

I’ve enjoyed the introduction of Neegan etc. Felt that freshened it up, however I started it with high expectations after a few recommendations on here and elsewhere.

Those that suggest it is as good as game of thrones, and there are even some that say it is better, could not be further from the truth.
