I really like homeland - yeah its far fetched, bur i found the latest series really quite gripping, and quinn's story and performance wad compelling.

Actually really liked the series set in pakistan too - in fact since brody left, its got better again.
To be fair, I'm no so sure its that far fetched. I don't think we know the half of what really goes on.

Nah, i agree with that. I was meaning some of the plot holes etc, not the general spy stories, which i agree always have a ring of plausability to them.

Sense8 season 2 has been absolutely gripping so far. Season 1 was hard going at times, but this is more like it now.

Pretty sure it's been cancelled now

Netflix have cancelled a few shows recently which is a bit of a change for them - appears they don't have a bottomless pit of money after all

That's a shame, it was just starting to show real potential. From what I've seen so far I would imagine it's a big budget show for Netflix.

I thought Sense8 was awesome but the costs were massive.

Due to the backlash from fans at the cancellation Netflix have agreed to make a final 2 hour episode to finish the story rather than leaving it where season 2 finished.....won't spoil it for you but its good

That's good, at least the story will be finished that way. Season 2 has been really good so far.

Just watched the first episode of Ozark, it's a Netflix series about a money launderer. Looks promising.

Just watching Kevin Bridges on Comedy Central Extra for the umpteenth time, top banter! ;-) May well be a Strongbow influenced opinion.

New series of Suits, Power and Shooter keep me going through the week.

Just binge wanted series 2 of Last Chance U yesterday on my day off as well. Not as good as series one and because it's real life I found it fascinating.

Mentioned it a few times on this thread but if you're not on board with The Leftovers yet, you should be. Season 3 is absolutely brilliant.
Johnson from Peep Show as the new messiah was all I needed to know.
It is also brilliant. So intense throughout

Glad its got a good ending, I'm only 2 episodes into last series and really struggling with it. Think it lost his way after the polisman left to live in Brighton i think.

Stewart Lee : Carpet Remnant World, very clever and funny and some of it went over my head, thats probably the idea though.

Just finished it tonight. I can't believe they're not extending it to another series. I think they spent too long in series 1 on introducing all 8 characters, and that maybe cost the show some viewers.
It has been well worth sticking with though and series 2 was stunning. It's going to be pretty difficult to wrap things up in a 2 hour episode, but I'm looking forward to it though.

Has anyone been watching orphan black? I always prefer to wait until the series finishes so I can binge watch. It's weird, but good imo.

Aye, I flagged it up towards the start of the thread. Tatiana Maslany is very good.

She is. It is such a well put together show considering she plays mist of the characters. It's gripping and quite funny at the same time.

The whole season is on sky on demand. We finished it on Thursday night, it was fantastic and the final two episodes are genius.
