I thought it was brilliant. Really gets you questioning teenage dillemas and stresses at school and life in general. You're right, last few episodes were hard to watch. Waiting on the first "It glorifies suicide" comment.
I watched the first 3 and thought it was absolute *****.

Not seen it mentioned in the thread, anyone watch Line of Duty? Since season two, I think it's been the best thing on TV.
Just watched the final ep of the series, outstanding tv.

S2 just finished last night. It's brilliant.

Also, Better Call Saul is getting better with each episode. Yesterday's was outstanding.

Obviously its a good 15 years old now, but watching Band of Brothers as I do at the end of my exams every May. I'll be surprised if I ever see anything in my life that tops it, just incredible.

I'm not having a go, but I hear this a lot about people being incredulous that good TV actually existed before Netflix changed the world Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, Northern Exposure, Band of Brothers, Our Friends in the North, all massively influential series just off the top of my head that still stand up well that everyone should check out if you haven't already. Go on the auld yins

Never used Netflix once in my whole life. And I'd echo that about The Sopranos, going to go through that again soon, quite simply brilliant! Will keep the others in mind as I've not seen them.

I used to watch Northern Exposure, I'm not sure I'd describe it as massively influential though.

    United we stand here....

That was the only TV programme I ever stayed in to watch.

Crime Story was another good one.

Got my hands on the DVD box of Murder One and it was a huge disappointment second time round.

Thats one of the first things I can remember watching on SKY, outstanding at the time. Boston Legal was another one, James Spader and William Shatner were an outstanding duo.

Really? id never seen anything like it at the time. Surrealism in a sitcom with weird characters throughout. Ace.

just finished watching as well, would have to agree it on no way glorifies suicide, shows that normal people do it and it shouldn't be stigmatised but in absolutely no way glorifies it. The same people that say Trainspotting glorifies Heroin addiction and urban poverty will claim it does tho🙄

Can't recommend it highly enough. I'm must have watched it r or 5 times and it never gets old. Great characters great actors and great writing.

The big thing for me is even though most the characters are ****bag gangsters and do despicable things you still grow to like them.

The West Wing tops them all!

    Sopranos it is then. 😊

Realy enjoyed series two of master of none, despite finiding aziz ansari annoying at times. The tinder episode was brilliant, highlight though was the episode with the deaf girl.

Americans series 5 has been as good as good as the others.
