the pinkertons is down as crime/western on the IMDb site, they should really make it crime/western/comedy...i'l watch one more of the remaining 21 episodes interesting that one of the three 'stars' is scottish (Angus Macfadyen) and the female tec Martha MacIsaac must surely have scottish blood in her with a surname like that

It's more like a bairns programme, made by bairns too!

I've dumped the series link off the Tivo box.

Best series I have seen(although not quite finished yet)

    Anybody heard about Banshee(sp)?
Absolutely love Banshee. An interesting (albeit ridiculous) premise, but some brilliant characters and the action just keeps on coming. Some of the fight scenes (in Season 1 in particular) are top drawer. Sad to hear that the next season will be the last.

It also has some pretty stunning females characters...if you like that sort of thing.

3 episodes into Narcos and I do like it. Feel it's a wee bit sympathetic to Escobar at times - perhaps it's just the casting but I find him too likeable!

Also started watching Sherlock again, as I never picked it up after S1 last time around.

I'd recommend the book 'Killing Pablo' and it goes into detail about how he WAS very, very charismatic and likeable when you met him.

I've only watched 5 episodes so far but the guy playing Escobar in Narcos is excellent.

Just watched a documentary on Netflix. It's called All this mayhem. The story of two brothers, Ben and Tas Pappas who hit the heights of pro skateboarding but self destruct through drugs. Phenomenol viewing. Highly recommend it.

It's alright. Is it just me or does it have a bit more of a comedy edge to it this time? Still time for a dark twist I suppose.

On season 3 of house of cards right now and enjoying it. Think Kevin spacey is great in it.

Also on first season of suits and the walking dead and both good so far!

Finished Narcos last night, thought it was very good. It made me want to learn Spanish mainly because their swear words are brilliant!

The boy who plays Escobar is excellent.

Surely going to be a 2nd series, anyone know?

Apparently already in the works. Will obviously focus on the final chase.

Have now finished Season 2 of Murder in the First and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the first series, but the second was better. My only complaint was the ending was a bit anti-climatic - still a good story though.

I know sci-fi doesn't get much of a mention on this thread, so not sure if folk are really into it, but just finished the first series of two new programmes; Dark Matter and Killjoys.

I thought Dark Matter was brilliant. It was created by folk who are best known for working on the various Stargate franchises, but it's very different. The last episodes in particular was very well done, with building tension in a whodunit style storyline which kept you guessing til the end.

Killjoys was very enjoyable as well, although a bit more predictable at times. Considering that one of the main settings is called Leith, it should really be a must for all Hibees.
