Thread: Best tv

Landscapers on Sky Atlantic is well worth a watch.

Mental story in real life. Brilliant cast and a really good dark comic twist put on it.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

It’s a Brit box exclusive I think, lucky for me it’s on my dodgy firestick
Cheers - Britbox? They mustn’t want to get too many viewers.

Just finished watching that. Still for me one of the best shows Netflix has made.

I didn’t manage to watch it when it was originally on, but I recorded it. Finally got round to watching Help. Outstanding tv, Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham really are two of the best actors in the UK. The private care sector were badly let down during the first lockdown.

I've still got it Tivo'd, can't bring myself to watch it for some reason.

Im plodding through it. It passes the time. It’s far from great but I’m hanging around for Brian Cox’s acting. Siobhan is good too.

It’s well worth the wait though. Roll on Series 4.

    Gomorrah

GOMORRAH ****Series 5 has just been released, on Bt and SKy Atlantic I believe. The last ever and consists of 10 episodes. Fantastic program , up there as one of the best ever. If you haven’t seen, it do yourself a favour and search out the complete series and film.

I thought seasons 1-4 of Gomorrah were absolutely brilliant, and started watching season 5 very recently.

It's still good viewing, and maybe it's just me, but season 5 is not reaching the same heights as the previous seasons did.

Definitely worth sticking with for that last episode. It'll be interesting to see where they go with series 4

True Story on Netflix, quite enjoyed it and for a change episodes that weren’t just drawn out 30min episodes, decent story and pretty well acted a few actors I’ve not seen in a while as well as Kevin hart in a role different from his usual comedy types

Book of Boba Fett just started on Disney+.

First episode was excellent - style is very similar to Mandalorian (as you would expect).

He's put the beef on mind you - maybe they should have had him eat his way out of the Sarlaac to explain it.

The fight scenes were good. I wasnt sure about the 'monster' that appears near the end...does that really fit with the rest of Lucas' world? It looked more like a Ray Harryhausen creation.

I thought the same thing. Maybe there will be a clockwork owl in the next episode

I just watched a couple of Scandi thrillers on I-Player: Blinded: Those Who Kill (Danish) and The Hunt For A Killer (Swedish). I really enjoyed them, particularly the Swedish series.

What’s with the one episode a week thing? Does my head in when streaming services do that.
