Only watched The Unit and SoA - both very good but SoA definitely better.

The Unit had the problem of no real through story, when it did it was great but either over in 2 episodes or right at the end. Loved it though.

    SoA is great.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. It feels like ages since I watched it but, IIRC, it actually got better the longer it went on as some of the characters were allowed to develop more.

Yeah it started as just one episode at a time (if that makes sense) with little tying the series together. The start of season 4 was brilliant but the series didn't always continue the story which was a shame. Loved it though.

I'll reserve judgement until after Thursday, but I probably won't be unhappy at that.

i really don't know what to make of it all, i thought at the time it was a mistake killing off bev (juliette lewis) in just the 2nd episode and the guy that plays the son just doesn't seem to fit (imo) a couple of sites saying if there's a 2nd season it would be a completely different cast, ah well, not long until the walking dead Season 6 starts :)

My problem is that I can't take Matt Dillon seriously in anything he does. He always seems like he's doing a spoof, and overacting like crazy.

I kept watching because of Toby Jones.... I've always liked him.... but even his character has felt a bit hammy recently.

Banshee and Ray Donovan are the best programmes on just now.

Also partial to a bit of Strike Back :-)

I'd agree about the first two, but imo Strike Back is absolutely honking.

Wentworth (prisoner cell block H) started again tonight.

Love it. Frankie would get it.

Upto ep5 in the final series of Hannibal, starting to get into it again. Even though I'm nae expert its probably the most visually stunning tv series there's ever been, the lighting is amazing.

Has anyone watched Defiance? I watched Season 1 a while back and thought it was ok but not great. Moved onto Season 2 recently and it's definitely improved.

I've only watched season 1 so far. Add Black Sails to your list too.
