I'm REALLY late to this party, but I've just started The Man In the High Castle (read the book years ago), and it's superb.

Dark, uncomfortable and aesthetically remarkable, I'm hooked!

i nearly lost interest in S2 as the character Tagomi is so laid back his scenes were starting to put me to sleep :( but thankfully i stuck with it and the whole of S3 was excellent, inc Tagomi, S4 will start later in 2019

I've read the book, and loved it.

But how do they get 4 series out of it?

because it's TV of course, anything can happen but seriously, i've not read the book so why not a 4th season ?

It's actually more of an an extended short story, hence the intrigue.

I love Dick's short stories, so a bit concerned that (as with so many books) I'll be disappointed with the adaptation.

Think I'll watch it and pretend I don't know the story

I've been listening to his stuff for 30 years, got everything he's ever recorded. I absolutely love his music but few of my mates do, there's this perception of him as lacking subtlety and intelligence, maybe because of a misinterpretation of Born in the USA. If you're in this boat I guarantee you'll change your kind after this film. It's all country acoustic interspersed with everyday life anecdotes that would bring a tear to a stone.

She wanted to watch Torville and Dean last night so I thought I would sit with her since it’s Christmas. Have to say I enjoyed and it’s really well done, especially their portrayal of Cristopher Dean.

Maybe it’s because their Olympic gold was one of those sporting memories from my childhood. I recall it was a huge deal back then and is now considered an iconic moment. That song, their outfits, the ending...I think it will always be remembered for decades to come.

Again, late to the party, but Bodyguard really was a sensational piece of drama by the BBC. Just finished the series. Excellent.

Started well, but did you not think the last few episodes got increasingly daft? To the point when we were supposed to believe that the bodyguard was able to escape from the back of a building that the entire London police force was staking out? (not to mention escaping across London afterwards).

I must be weird but i find stuff like Game of Thrones and others very juvenile. Great production values obviously. But ..... Wish I could watch this stuff. Looks like an excuse to show sex and violence tbh.

I’ve come late to this. I’ve only seen half a series before but I’m enjoying (on second thoughts not sure if that’s the right word) this series.

And aye, as someone said. Ruth Wilson..!

The Bros documentary on BBC is definitely worth watching. Must be the most quotable film I've seen in years!

    Hilarious but kinda touching also.

Brilliant - we now know who Ricky Gervais based David Brent on.
