The Staircase got a rank review from the guy I sit next to at work. He thought it was really boring, but from your review it looks really good.

Suppose it has its ups and downs.

The last two or three episodes dragged on but the rest were good

I’ve not watched it but from what I’ve read, the last 3 episodes are the new Netflix content. The rest is old content which Netflix have reissued then added to.

Finished watching it this morning. Really couldnt stand the guy or his lawyer which made sympathy difficult but it was really interesting
I’m about half way through it, and I’m feeling the same started it on Saturday, normally I’d have had it finished by now but can’t seem to get into it.

Evil Genius is another mental story on Netflix. Americans are crazy.

I struggled a bit with Evil Genius.

We've just started watching Peaky Blinders, it had totally passed us by. Absolutely loving it so far.

Series 2 of the Handmades Tale has been brilliant.

Also really enjoying unbreakable kimmy Schmidt. I hated it at first but was persuaded to give it another go, and now almost through 3 series. Its got to be one of the best comedy series made in recent years.

I watched the first few episodes of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, thought it was terrible. I’ll maybe give it another go.

The Handmaid's Tale is a magnificent bit of tv. I'd recommend watching the film before watching the series.

I only managed the first episode last time. Ive went from finding her realy annoying to being brilliantly acted. Loads of good references and cameos throughout the programme too.

Had never heard of the film before. Is the story identical or could I watch it without ruining the series?

Its a good few years since I watched it but, it won't spoil the tv series. Season 2 was written by someone else. Margaret Atwood's (the original books author) story finishes at the end of season 1, not sure who took over.

The Bridge is getting very heavy now. Much better than early in the series.

I'm sure I've mentioned it before but, Jonny Lee Miller is brilliant in Elementary. A tremendous Sherlock in a modern setting, Lucy Liu is good as Watson too.

Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer going fishing is brilliant. A right nice, funny show.

Halfway through the BBC documentary from 11/6 about the residents of the Grenfell Tower. Very powerful, moving stuff.

I’m finding Westworld to be a bit of a slog this season. Started great but quickly descended into being overly complicated. I’m all for a bit of mystery but the stuff with Bernard just gets annoying after a while.

Everyone loves a twist but if you don’t give a toss about the characters, it doesn’t really matter.

Will see what the finale brings.

Enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Six about the Navy Seals. Not anywhere near the level of other programmes but enjoyable none the less. Although I have just noticed it's produced by Harvey Weinstein..

Not yet, isn't available on netflix or prime, and couldn't find a torrent for it. Was disappointed that episode 12 never took off from different circumstances, looking forward to the conclusion though.

I really thought series 2 was one of the worst things I’d seen. Without giving it away the ending was terrible
