The Pacific is good as well but not a patch on BoB
Indeed. I think that's because The Pacific is a mixture of stories while BoB was one shared by many from the start.

I could be wrong, but I think the difference between the 2 series is...
Band of Brothers was written by the superb author and Historian, Stephen Ambrose.
'Pacific' followed a similar format, but was written by his son Hugh Ambrose.

I wasn't that keen on the BoB book to be honest. The characters certainly came over as less likeable than the TV series, which was superb and which i rewatch regularly.

I really enjoyed both, and usually a book does it more for me than a movie/series.
But i can see your point with this, and watching the real hero's like Dick Winters and Co chatting about what they went through, losing mates to random shells and bullets, always brings a lump to my throat.

I think it is linked to all the other Marvel Netflix series like Daredevil etc.

As mentioned he featured heavily in Daredevil Season 2, personally I haven't watched that but it makes no difference imo.
    The Punisher is ace!

We started the walking dead a few month ago.

On S7 now and I have to say it no where near reached the heights that Game of Thrones does in my opinion.

    It’s all too samey.

In saying that I have enjoyed it. This season certainly has started in a totally different, a horrible, manner to the rest of them.

I want certain people to be tortured to death, for obvious reasons!

I'll keep watching it but, if a final season announcement is made soon I wont shed many tears, same goes for American Horror Story, should've stopped after the Lady Gaga season.

Watching 80s show Big Deal starring Ray Brooks. Was only about 11/12 when it was but remember seeing a few episodes.

Watching it now I am really enjoying it.

I probably would have said do Daredevil S2 before the Punisher, otherwise the relationship between Castle and Karen Page will make no sense...
