Finished Luther last night. Far fetched but brilliant

Onto ‘You’ now. Heard a lot of positive things about it but onto seven episodes and struggling to find it

I thought You was unbelievably far fatched but there was a couple of episodes towards the end dealing with relationships and trust that I thought were really good.

Whilst it wouldn't normally be my cup of tea I've just watched ep1 of Les Miserables after reading the reviews in the papers, it's got all the makings of another BBC epic.

I've now watched ep2, Lilly Collins is magnificent. Just found out she is Phil Collins daughter.

Loved the interactive aspect. Certainly something I'd like to see more of. Watching this got me into the Black Mirror series which I hadn't noticed before. Now on series 3. Brilliant.

The Bros documentary on BBC is definitely worth watching. Must be the most quotable film I've seen in years!

    Hilarious but kinda touching also.
Wow, this is superb. It's like a mockumentary but real

Yeah so many scenes could slot right into Spinal Tap! The conkers chat, the bit where he’s waiting to board the BA flight, the Rome chat etc!

Fortunately I was too young for Bros at the time but that documentary was excellent.

The bald one (Luke?) came across well. The other (Matt?) is like a spoiled, pretentious, brat.

Mental that they said they played 14 nights straight at Wembley! Also still some number of people that greeted them when they arrived back in England last year or whenever the reunion was.

The slow song they were rehearsing seemed like pure David Brent.

Just finished watching Manhunt on STV. Thought it was really well done, really fascinating how they managed to tie all the cases together in the end.

I got through S1 of Shooter quite quickly. Struggled to keep that going though and never really bothered with S2 in the end.

I'm just finishing up S5 of Luther. Wasn't caught straight away but it's definitely turned into a reasonable mini-series.

On the subject of Best TV, the first episode of the Sopranos was aired 20 years ago this week.

    20 years.

Just sat and watched the 3 episodes of Manhunt. Just like Little Boy Blue (about the Rhys Jones murder) it was very good and interesting to see how he was caught. Must be incredibly frustrating when you know someone committed the crime but can't prove it, and clearly take it's toll on your family life.

Anyone else watching "Maniac"? I keep watching it but can't decide if it's utter garbage or genius.

It's brilliant. I love Black Mirror so was always likely to enjoy it but I'm obsessed.

I'm intrigued as to when they are going to reveal what the 'White Bear' symbol means. It's been prominent throughout Black Mirror and obviously had huge significance in Bandersnatch. There's a few online theories about how it glues the whole Black Mirror universe together.

    20 years.
And 12 years since it finished. I was shocked to read the last episode aired in 2007.

Watched it from episode one. One of the best programmes I've seen on the BBC. Brilliant acting and giving so much more of the back stories than the stage musical.

Is this series separate storylines so I can just watch from tomorrow? I like Mahershala Ali so would like to watch.

Yeah, no requirement to have seen the previous seasons (though I would recommend them).

More season 1 than 2, although both good

Finished S2 which is pretty decent also S3 seems to have gone a bit Nancy Drew.

Thought it was quite poor compared to the earlier ones.

Yeah same. Just a re-hash IMO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
