It's probably been mentioned but I'm really enjoying Berlin Station. Great script (absolute fantasy) and the additional bonus of being filmed in a place I call home. The last scenes were filmed in the now derelict place I used to work in. Highly recommended.
I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, it is indeed worth a watch.

I just got round to watching BBC Alba's programme about The Famous Five last night, well worth a watch. 👍

Watched it from episode one. One of the best programmes I've seen on the BBC. Brilliant acting and giving so much more of the back stories than the stage musical.
Just finished the final ep, magnificent from start to finish. 😪

Is it a musical or just a drama?

It may have been mentioned but any sons of anarchy fans out there Mayans M.C is available on the bbc I player ten part series already been renewed for a second one. Its set four years after Jax and Samcro. Worth a watch

Finished S2 of Designated Survivor not as good as the 1st but still pretty good.

Now halfway through Das Boot not a patch on the original and a bit too much subplot but a decent watch.

  10. #2229
    Also finished Fortitude totally bonkers!

Anybody watched Umbrella Academy on Netflix? Is it scary? I really fancy it but im a bit of a Jessie.

    The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs

Movie/short stories, very bizarre but beautifully shot from the Coen Bros.

Not for everyone but I thought it was fantastic.

Hairdresser was telling me about this yesterday. Said it sounds random but is brilliant and was hooked. Think I'll give it a go sometime.

My better half has started watching this whilst on the running machine or rowing. Seems to make her go faster

Yes. No. I thought you were more of a Josephine than a Jessie.

Russian Doll on Netflix. Get to episode 4 and it will make sense.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

    The Grey Area

Anyone watch this on the new bbc Scotland channel? Lots filmed in Leith was obviously pretty low budget and the acting a bit iffy but was fairly decent if a bit predictable.

Most of the cast are recovering junkies or have been affected by drugs instead of actors

Watched it earlier, passable programme, could've done without the rapping though. Quite surprised to see Tom Stade playing a minor role.

    Free Solo

Climber Alex Honnold climbing In Yosemite with no ropes.

Interesting guy felt sick just watching it!

    Well worth watching.

Just watched it and thought it was really good. I believe there has been another few episodes written, but no Idea if filmed or even been commissioned, would recommend though.

Fair enjoying my crime documentaries just now. Watched Making a Murderer series 2, Golden State Killer Unmasked and Evil Genius lately with Ted Bundy Tapes next up. Some crazy cases!

Anybody watching Curfew? It's unusual but, there's a decent story in there.

  28. #2247
Finish Happy which was absolutely mental but very good.

Now onto Ozark which gets great reviews and couple in seems that’s the case.

Loved Ozark, it's one of those dramas that had me debating with the Mrs about right and wrong and all that's in between.

I've watched a couple of episodes of Losers on Netflix. Short documentaries about famous sporting losses and meltdowns. The episode about Jean Van De Velde at Carnoustie is car crash viewing even now.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Started How To Get Away With Murder with the missus. Really enjoying it

Also started The Sopranos again for literally about the 10th time. Unreal
