I think it's great - I don't know many folk that watch it though. They're missing out.

I started on Game of Thrones just before Christmas. Now tanned the first 2 series and it seems decent. I had put off watching it cos I don't normally like stuff with dragons, monsters, zombies and that but was assured that they don't play a major part in things. I don't think that's quite correct but I am enjoying it.

The Shanara Chronicles contains most of the things you didn't fancy watching in GOT, I've not watched it for similar reasons but, quite enjoyed Shanara Chronicles.

I've watched The OA recently which was baffling but enjoyable.

Also just finished the 2nd series of High Castle and I'm still none the wiser.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I don't normally watch prime time TV but i enjoyed Taboo on BBC Saturday night, historical epic fare with Tom Hardy doing his borderline cockney psycho thing.

Series two will be called Mirage I bet...

At episode 6 of a Brazilian series called 3%. The plot and acting are so poor that I just can't stop watching it.

not saw it mentioned on here but has anyone watched 'the man in the high castle' ? i watched the first episode on amazon prime after the 30-day trial was up and noticed there's been two series so far, worth downloading/watching the rest from elsewhere ?

  15. #1124
Just watched the last Sherlock episode on BBC.

Really up there with one of my favorites. The writers really do deserve a medal. It can be hard to follow at times but it really is superb and they have the perfect actors.

I know imuch late to the party but I've just finished the 1st 2 series if sons of anarchy.really liking it so far.

Really enjoying Stranger Things on Netflix. Acting is great and plenty nods to the 80s

If you enjoy the killing then watch "the Bridge". It's a Swedish/Danish production and I watched it in German but it's still a good watch.

Sorry haven't read all of this thread, at least in a while. Is Lucifer worth a watch? Looking for a new boxset to watch with Mrs J. The write up reminds me a bit of Dexter which we loved. Will watch the pilot this week which will give us some idea but any comments to stick with it or ditch it welcomed. Ta

Just started to watch the Dutch series, Framed, on All Four. Looks promising except for the main character not recognising his brother who has apparently transformed into a 'hot chick'. Still, artistic licence and all that.

I just finished sense8, what a weird but strangely addictive show it is. I watched the first couple of episodes and forgot about it. I started watching it again and at no point was I thinking this is good, but I couldn't stop watching it. Weird!

    United we stand here....

The Bridge is superb. Saga Noren is such a great character.

Is it subtitled or dubbed in English? We started watching a French thing similar to The Killing called The Break or something. Gave up after 20 mins because my wife can't be bothered following subtitles.

Last night's was the best yet. It's good the BBC can still churn out quality stuff from time to time.

Heard lots of good things about this. Going to watch it as soon as I've finished Goliath.
